Our Dyvar® technology provides many benefits to our customers. One of these unique benefits is the ability to concentrate and crystallize extremely corrosive brines and products.
For example, we recently successfully concentrated and crystallized a product stream with an extremely high chlorine concentration and pH 1 for a leading European customer in the additives industry. The customer wanted to reduce product volume and increase the value of this particular additive. The resulting condensate could be discharged into surface water after a simple post-treatment step.
Reimond Olthof had the opportunity to share these and other benefits of our Dyvar® technology with the Global Water Summit audience in Berlin during the session “12 technologies for industrial water reuse this year”. The innovative Dyvar® technology uses corrosion resistant materials for piping, evaporation cyclones and heat exchangers, allowing Salttech to process this corrosive additive and other highly corrosive brines.
