For a major Lithium mining company in South Amerika, Salttech has successfully produced fresh water to be used for Lithium production operations.
Raw water from the client has been successfully treated, resulting in fresh water production and separation of solids during stable Dyvar® operation. With use of water quality results obtained from the produced condensate and brine it was concluded that the Dyvar® is able to effectively realize near Zero Liquid Discharge and produce industrial water for Lithium production operations. The conductivity of the fresh water produced was extremely low and had values between 10,2 µS/cm and 15 µS/cm, indicating high quality water.
